Six mil Antennas est un film libre sur les mutations des processus communicationnels de société suscitant et guidant une réflexion méditative et ludique. L’élément principal de l’oeuvre en est sa thématique propre : le langage non verbal et l’exploration de dimensions parallèles. On y suit des dizaines de personnages évoluant dans de faux décors futuristes et qui accèdent, chacun à leur tour, à un état de transcendance.
Urban Wind

Urban Wind is an installation rely to the dy
namic characteristics of the wind. Wind sensors are installed in strategic points of the city [ e.g. ::: intersections, bridges, tunnels, parks, rooftops . . . ]. The velocity and direction of the wind will be analyzed and than transmit by wifi to a group of accordions that will emit a euphonic soundscape. Public can ear the pulmonary dynamics of the city trought each accordeons bellows.
Between Heaven and Earth

This fiction piece is a journey inspired by the dances, songs and other artistic expressions of Native People, creating a vibrant and sensual time warp. Hovering through multiple ambiances, the project is the result of a collaboration with Native artists such as Samian, Odaya, Gaeten Gingras, Sophie Lavigne, Akinisie and Sylvia Cloutier among others. The movie was designed for an immersive dome-shaped hemisphere that can welcome up to 400 audience members. The sound and music were created for a an eight-speaker system.

Perkins Rowe
[Architectural multimedia environment / Jean Ranger / Moment Factory / 2008 /composer and sound designer]
Moment Factory designed an immersive multimedia environment to establish a whole new kind of urban destination. The chosen approach was a vast choreography synchronizing and harmonizing light, sound and video (giant screens, LED and architectural projections), thus creating a constantly changing visual symphony.

Arts Natura
[Immersive advertisement for a 360° screen installed in the Montreal subway system / Yan Breuleux / Montreal Biodome and the Society for Arts and Technology / 2007 / composer and sound designer]
Set within the confines of a circular space inside the Square-Victoria subway station, public transit users discover a massive cylindrical screen portraying animations of the mating rituals of ostriches, pigs and fish. The music and sounds used, punctuate and bring about a humorous note to these surprising and entertaining scenes. The ad was designed to promote an exhibit on mating rituals presented at the Montreal Biodome.

Entre ciel et terre

Cette fiction propose un voyage immersif qui s’inspire de danses, de musiques et du langage artistique autochtones pour créer un univers imagé, éthéré et sensuel. Six tableaux exposent un imaginaire riche qui est le fruit d’une collaboration entre des artistes autochtones tel que Samian, Odaya, Gaétan Gingras, Sophie Lavigne, Akinisie, Sylvia Cloutier et d’autres artistes.
La Satosphère, un dôme immersif hémisphérique pouvant accueillir de 350 à 400 personnes. Le son et la musique ont été composés et créés pour un système de huit haut-parleurs.

Moment Factory a conçu un environnement architectural multimédia pour un lieu public. L’approche est d’utiliser en harmonie la lumière, le son, la musique et la vidéo afin de créer un symphonie audiovisuelle dynamique.

[Publicité immersive pour un écran de 360°diffusée dans le métro de Montréal / Yan Breuleux au visuel / Biodôme de Montréal et Société des arts technologique / 2007 / compositeur et concepteur sonore]
Dans le métro de Montréal, les utilisateurs traversaient une salle circulaire à la station Square-Victoria. Sur un écran cylindrique de 360° des dessins animés de rituels amoureux de cochons, autruches et poisons. La musique et les sons ponctuent la note humoristique de ce tableau amusant et étonnant. La publicité annonce une exposition sur les rituels amoureux présentée au Biodôme de Montréal.
